Nicholas DiCostanzo

Nicholas grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and majored in community studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz with a focus on music and arts education for at risk youth. A few years after graduating, he moved to New York City and began to draw, design and take pictures. Nicholas started studying web and graphic design at Compu21 in Queens and fine art at School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. He entered photography contests, commissioned design work for local businesses and made murals for public schools and shelters. Subsequently, Nicholas was admitted to Columbia University where he studies painting. Nicholas is currently in a group exhibition at Aloft Harlem Art Gallery and working on a mural about food and food deserts for b[x] spaces Outdoor Gallery.
